Diagnosed with IBS but turned out it was pregnancy?

I'm currently in the void of confusion. They won't ultrasound me due to not having a positive pregnancy test despite all my pregnancy symptoms. My current one being something that resembles IBS. I have had dozens of tests which have all come back normal. So I'm wondering if anyone thought they had IBS but it ended up being pregnancy and how you found out you were pregnant?

Can you pay for a private ultrasound to be sure?

Unfortunately I dont have the money to pay out of pocket for it. My last procedure being a colonoscopy, killed me in the bank department. They have found nothing relating to IBS as scans and procedure turned up with zilch. But I'm getting IBS like symptoms with random jabs, cramps, butterflies and stomach hardening. If I am correct, I would be 6 months along. I'm obese so I'm not going to be really showing but the ibs stuff started around a few months ago, hence the colonoscopy. I've never had bowel issues in my life so this has all been very weird. No constipation or diarrhea tho... just stomach jabs and such. I've had test after test after test and everytime I go to a new specialist they do a urine pregnancy test that comes out negative and then I'm run through more tests that show nothing and end up being normal. If i could afford the 400 dollars, i would. All I got right now is google.

Hi OP, sounds a difficult experience, sorry to hear you're having to go through it. Unfortunately I'm not aware of it being possible to be pregnant and to keep getting negative pregnancy tests. I'm pretty sure if your pregnancy tests are consistently negative, your symptoms won't be caused by a baby, but something else. Hope you find answers soon.
