If you don't mind I'll follow this thread, I'm pregnant with my 3rd and last two were 13 and 17 years ago!
Congratulations Flowers

Also used a combination of these online lists

www.medela.us/breastfeeding/articles/15-hospital-bag-must-haves

www.google.com/amp/s/www.thebump.com/a/checklist-packing-a-hospital-bag/amp

And the list available on my maternity hospital website!

Good luck!

The best thing I was told to pack was a load of cheap face cloths, not for your face but for during/after a shower (after the birth) to pop between your legs to help keep you clean while you are drying yourself. I was so glad I had them! And I bought super cheap ones so I could bin them after.

Thank you all :-)

Does anyone know if im allowed to take my own pillow and towels (due to covid)
I understand that every hospital has their own rules but wondering if your hospital allowed you?

Bringing a pillow I asked at my 20 week scan and midwife said it shouldnt be a problem. I mean your taking yourself and a partner clothes, baby blankets and all the essentials you need so whats a pillow really.

Its my 2nd too my son will.be 6 next month too so can barley remember what i packed myself first ime.

On top of the lists online that you read naming the usual theres a few things im going to add in i didnt take first time. I have seen alot of talk about this 'spritz for bits' spray that you spray on down below before and after you wee after birth and it apparently really helps it not to sting. Has witch hazel and other things in it to help the healing process too. There are also these instant snap cooling gel pads i plan to take for down below too lol. I remember the hospital wouldnt let me use the baby wipes i took for baby so im going to buy a few packets of those water wipes and some cotton wool balls that i never took last time.
