Pressure so bad

Has anyone had this while pregnant...

I feel my butt bones are achy, and I feel a tonne of pressure in my vagina plus I am getting little shots of shooting pain in my pelvic bone.

Baby was riding low for the last week but seems to have moved up tonight (back under my ribs)

I'm 34+5 with my second.

Hi OP. Sounds like pelvic girdle pain. I've had this for a number of weeks (now 29+5) but given your gestation and new onset of pain I'd suggest you speak with the midwife asap. Sure it's just your pelvis getting ready for d day but worth checking.

I find a pregnancy cushion, paracetamol and a warm hot water bottle helps (obviously not too hot and only use on my lower back).
Good luck x

@OnNaturesCourse yes I did, separately to PGP, it lasted til the end unfortunately, worse when standing up for long periods. A friend had it too who termed it the fanny of fire Shock it was burny painful towards the end but was just round ligament pain and nothing to be concerned about xx

I had SPD in my previous pregnancy and it was nothing like this, was all in my hips, tailbone and occasionally my pelvic bone. I guess it's prehaps presenting differently this time. Midwife tomorrow so will mention it

I have had this on and off for a couple of weeks so you have my sympathy! (35 weeks now).

My midwife said it's most probably caused by the baby practicing getting into position by headbutting and grinding his head into the pelvic area Sad

@OnNaturesCourse yes it's a completely different ligament to the one that causes the pelvic pain xx
