Moses Basket?

Hi,

I’m currently 25 weeks and trying to make a start of baby purchases. My mum is insisting I need a Moses basket for downstairs (Have ordered a Snuzpod for the bedroom) however I know a few people that never had one and wondering if it will be a waste of money?
If you had a Moses basket would you recommend it? If not what else do I need for daytime naps?

I have a 6 week old and I was initially in two minds about getting one but did end up doing so, planning to keep it downstairs for day time. I had a section so it was easier getting her out of the basket than standing up each time to get her out of the cot so we have had it upstairs.
She's a tall baby so it won't be long before she grows out of it but she loves it in there and sleeps well. We swaddle too so that also helps.

I bought a moses basket first time round and swore if I had another baby i wouldnt waste my money! My baby wasnt small he looked cramped in it so quickley and he slept in a bouncer/chair just as well! Dont waste your money!

Moses baskets look adorable but all my babies had outgrown them by about 12 weeks. And I don't have big babies.
