Stretch marks

Hi everyone

Bit of a silly Q maybe but I'm wondering if anyone can help me with some stretch mark advice! I'm just over 13 weeks and have got them quite visibly on my chest already, despite Bio Oil'ing and drinking lots of water. I don't have them anywhere else and am keen to try and do anything I can to keep them at bay.

Is there anything you'd recommend to keep them under control and/or reduce the appearance?

Thanks xx

Sorry to say stretch marks and how badly you get them tends to me more down to genetics than anything else. They do fade if that helps. Sorry to give bad news!

Have lots of jelly (with gelatin) and avocado. That should help your skin.

They’re genetic, they happen in the deeper layers of skin so any lotions and potions won’t do anything. Drink plenty of water and use a moisturiser to stop skin getting dry and itching but that’s all you can do

Thanks everyone! Back to the water bottle and moisturiser I go 😅 xx

I got the Mama Mio spray from amazon and so far it feels just amazing. Moisturises really well and even though stretch marks are mainly related to genetics, not moisturising your skin well enough will make it much worse. I also read some really good comments about the Burt’s bee cream so really worth having a look at both of these. I’ve never been a fan of Bio Oil and the reviews for it are not that great either. xx
