Early pregnancy discharge.. when to worry?

Hi according to lmp I am 7 and a half weeks pregnant.

I have experienced discharge since before my BFP but it seems to be getting increasingly worse as the days are going on.
Last night I experienced some shooting pains in my lower stomach, not exactly painful but enough for me to stop in my tracks to hold my stomach.
This morning when I went to the toilet and wiped there was a lot of discharge on the toilet paper that was an off white/yellow colour quite thick with some stringy bits in it (sorry tmi)
I know discharge is a sign of pregnancy but just wondering if this sounds more serious?

Completely normal to have loads of discharge in early pregnancy. If you're concerned you could get checked out for thrush but it sounds like regularly pregnancy to me. Pains are also normal and can be similar to period pains.

Thank you

I have my first midwife appointment at the end of next week so will mention it to her then if I don't feel the need to ring up before hand.

I'm still getting it at 18 weeks. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Had this yesterday and I’m 7 weeks pregnant too, think it’s normal to have increased CM during early pregnancy

Thank u for your replies I feel better now. It was just this morning that alarmed me with it being thick and stringy.
It's crazy how many symptoms pregnancy comes with that you don't really know about until your pregnant!!!!
