Interesting, thanks for posting! I'm 26 weeks now and expecting to deliver at 34 weeks, so I think the chances of them getting round to me while I'm still pregnant are low. I will have to think about whether I'd be happy to have it while breastfeeding though. Rationally I think surely so little of the vaccine would end up in your breast milk that it's very likely to be safe. So I think I probably would ...

I’m pregnant and breastfeeding ( hoping to tandem feed) but I’ll have it when/if offered. No longer a hcp but still very conscious how it could not only help me directly , keep me well for my children but also minimise risk of me ever needing hospital care for covid.

Thank you, very interesting post. I think the 1st vaccine was not to be allowed in pregnancy or breastfeeding- which would leave a lot of women unprotected for a long time. Glad that this one can be used if breastfeeding (if the woman wants).

Thanks for posting - I’m pleased to see that the vaccine can be given whilst breastfeeding. I BF my first until 19 months so I think, with the 9 months of pregnancy, that’s a long time to be unprotected. I will definitely take it if/when offered
