Reduced movements and stress!

So I'm 36+4 and my baby is a bit of a devil when it comes to movements! Anterior placenta doesn't help either!

If baby isn't facing my left side I don't feel the movements, sometimes I can see them and not feel them but any other positions and I feel nothing, which has led to going in to be checked alot! Literally 8-9 times in this pregnancy.....they then booked me planned monitorings every 2 days and have given me an induction date but here's the thing.....

The stress is not doing me any good! Before this pregnancy we had 3 miscarriages, which doesn't help with worrying, then we were told baby's heart is slightly more deviated to the left but was then told it was fine although he has to be checked by doctors on delivery (which they didn't tell us about) and then continuous bouts of reduced movements has contributed to a lot of stress

I want the doctors to move up my induction date to 37 weeks but they won't because of new guidance, which I understand but guidance can't count for every situation...they say there's no extra risk to baby by bringing it a week forward but I may have a longer induction which I fully understand and am prepared for, I was induced at 37+1 with my daughter

Anyone else had anything like this? A week isn't a long time in reality but when your not sleeping great and stressed it seems like a lifetime!

My dear friend went to the hospital as she was heavily pregnant and had been having pains for a week. She had sky high BP and was induced a bit early.

If you feel you can’t feel movements call your midwife. Good luck.

A week is a long time in baby development terms and could also mean the difference between a potential NICI/SCBU stay or normal post natal ward as many hospitals have a cut off below a certain size/gestation they'll let babies stay on post natal. If you are having regular monitoring I'd just hold on another week assuming the baby is continuing to follow its growth chart

Baby's born at 37 weeks (compared to term at 38 weeks) tend to need more help with breathing and their sucking skills arnt fully developed until 38 weeks and gets stronger each day they remain inside until 40 weeks.
All I can suggest is you keep going in to be monitored when you can't feel movement and a decision will be made that's appropriate for your situation.
While there is a lot to be said for mother intuition, it sounds like your desire for an early induction is based more on your anxieties rather than whats been found but HCP upon assessment.
Hang in there and maybe speak to your midwife about your anxiety.
