Hi, I'm 15 weeks pregnant and found out I have a low lying placenta due to bleeding a few weeks ago. I've been having light bleeding and cramps again since last night. I called the pregnancy unit this morning and they didn't seem concerned at all. I can't help but worry. Should I call again in the morning if it's still happening? Or take their word that it's nothing to worry about. I don't want to be a pain

No advice on the particular issue - but never worry about calling / being a pain. You know your body best and if something feels off it would be much worse to ignore it than to take 5 minutes of midwife time. Growing babies are precious and deserve our fretting over them. Hope all is ok for you!

I'd definitely call again, if only to put your mind at rest. Better to get checked and it be nothing than the alternative. All the best.

Thank you. I'm pretty sure it's nothing to worry about, but I still have that 'what if' and just feel rubbish in general. Hopefully it's stopped by the morning

I’d ring again and talk to someone else for peace of mind, never feel silly at all. It will likely be fine but there is nothing worse than the worry!

I was told i had slight placenta previa which where placenta was forming over the womb. I had bleeding on and off some really heaving with clots and tissue. I was so panicked. 1 out of 10 cases it moves and within 2 weeks of being told I had it at another scan it had moved. And no bleeding since. Low lying placenta can defo be a cause of bleeding but if you are panicked just be persistant about being checked out.
