Skin tag removal advice

Hi all

As the title suggests I need advice.
I have a skin tag and it's gotten worse the past couple of weeks from breasts growing and it rubbing more when running / working out. (Have gone up a sports bra size but it's too big in the back, so still stuck with my current ones)
I've read on some threads of women ripping them off / using nail clippers but it's a little bigger and I'd be worried I'd bleed to much.
I ordered the cryotag removal and low and behold there is a pregnancy warning. I cannot go through pregnancy with this, so want to know if anyone safely removed theirs (regardless of its location).
I understand why we have the warning, weakened immune and healing etc... But I'm more concerned having it stay and become infected as it's on my areola!
Help!!

No, I would have it removed by a doctor only. I've heard horror stories. I had a small one on my neck removed because it was catching on my collars and getting irritated. It took about 2 seconds to be removed safely, and I don't have any scarring etc.

When i had had my baby the following day I had lots of dark skin tags all on my neck appear. The midwives saud it was as a result of hormones and to leave alone until my hormones had calmed . I hated them but did as told . In the end I had laser removal and have subsequently had some frozen too and electrolysis. I would advice show gp but leave alone for now as removal is painful and u need to be In a good place to do it . Can you put a plaster on for now ?

Maybe get someone to tie some cotton tightly around it if large.

If you get apple cider vinegar soak a a bit cotton wool in it, put it over the skin tag with a plaster on it, not too much as it can burn the surrounding skin leave it on for a hour, do it everyday for a week, the skin tag turns black and drops off. Works on warts etc too and leaves no scar. It doesn't hurt either.

I've removed plenty by tying a piece of cotton tightly around the base. They die and drop off in about a week. I usually cover mine with a plaster as it can get a little sore for first couple of days if knocked.

I had this is my last pregnancy (and this one). Most fell off by themselves after dd was born.

So you could wait and see? I couldn't find anywhere that would remove them while I was pregnant or breastfeeding (which I did for 2.5 years - then got pregnant same week).

I would be leaving it alone if it’s on your nipple.

Just thought I would update here incase anyone is in the same predicament.

I have finally removed the skin tag.
Firstly yes, if your skin tag has arrived during pregnancy, it's likely hormone and should fall off after baby arrives.
Mine was pre pregnancy and pregnancy made it bigger. Was rubbing on sports bras with running as it was on the very edge of my areola and just getting gnarly looking!
Anyway... Was confirmed ages ago it was a skin tag and GP said it was fine to remove... I was just a big baby and didn't. Confirmed again with midwife and they said as it's not directly on the nipple was fine to get rid.

Decided to go with cotton tied around it, and four days later it has fallen off.
I cleaned the area first with an alcohol wipe, and wiped the cotton string. Wiped the area again with antiseptic and tied the string tight. It hurt after for about 20 minutes, covered with a plaster and the next day it was black. Changed the plaster each day as it was a little sore. Today, last day, I went without the plaster and fell off.
Obviously take extra precautions and definitely get it checked that it is a skin tag and not a mole or something else. Keep the area clean and dry... So wear plaster in bath or shower and change after once the area is dry.
