Hi,
I had blighted ovum diagnosed weds at 12 weeks.
Empty sac measuring 24mm so less than 7 week size.

Natural miscarriage experience so far ;

Started bleeding thurs eve, for two days it was like a light period. Then on the third day in the afternoon started cramping, quite bad but not awful, then passed two large clots, first one litterally plopped to the bottom of the loo. About 2/3 cm. not sure if this could have been the sac ? Had more cramping and a bit sore this morning but now feel totally fine and the clots were yesterday... still bleeding like a medium flow period now... x x

I'm sorry for you loss mooskimo.
I've had several miscarriages but only lost an obvious sac in one of them, the bleeding in all was a bit crazy with no obvious pattern to it. You will pass the ovum but also the contents of the uterus so that is the bit like a normal period? Iyswim. Except possible more as it has been thickening since you haven't had a period in a while.

Thank you @ItsIgginningtolookalotlikeXmas

That is helpful to know that sac is not always to be seen.
It has been like a period since after passing the two large clots, but not too heavy and not ever filling pads. I just thought the sac may come out whole as it was 24mm, does it break down then? I thought it would be like tissue so come out whole, am I wrong?
Did your natural miscarriages all work in removing all tissue or did you ever have to go for surgery? Really really don't want to have surgical procedure xx
