Hi everyone.

I think this is probably a bit cheeky of me so apologies if it is - I don't mean to nick anyone's ideas. I've decided on the Ollie and Molly range of decor from Next but I have spent the last three weekends (and a small fortune) in Homebase etc trying to find paint to tone in. I don't know whether it's my pg-affected eyesight or their neon lighting but every tester pot I bring home looks pants.

Has anyone successfully matched this and, if so, what did you use? I'm trying to match the lighter coloured bit in the middle of the border, if that makes sense as I only have a small room.

Thanks

Recommend Dulux paint mixing - it's really clever they scan the colour into the machine and then the computer works out an exact match and mixes it. They have the machines in most Homebases I think, and iirc they will do you a tester if you're still worried. We just did it for our bathroom - none of the colours available were what we wanted but we've got the exact shade by doing this.

Thanks Flowery. I've never used that before so wasn't sure of the accuracy. I guess it's the easiest option

I used Dulux Cookie Dough on the one wall around the window and did the rest of the room Magnolia. Works really well and really warm, earthy and snugly

ditto recommending the Dulux paint mixing service - our local B&Q has one, I've used it a couple of times & it's fab
