Floaters anything to worry about?

I keep seeing black "floaters" in my eyes. Just googled it and frightened myself to death - pre-exclampsia mentioned lots (google not always good idea in these circumstances!). I feel completely fine otherwise, no other symtoms, v.straight-forward pregnancy so should I worry or is this relatively common?

Thank you
Sarah (36+5)

I wouldn't worry too massively, I get these relatively frequently especially when tired, which I imagine you are, even if feeling generally fine! But, maybe give your midwife a ring tomorrow and just put your mind at rest? I doubt it's pre-eclampsia without the other associated symptoms.

I would get this checked out by a health professional as soon as possible.

I had preeclampsia without the black spots or any other symptoms apart from swollen ankles which I had had for some time.
I had no idea I had it but routine monthly urine test showed high levels of protein so DS was induced the next day.

I get the occasional floater. But if you're getting lots, then you should see your midwife/GP about it, as with any new symptom in pregnancy.

You really shouldn't google!

Thank you. Think I will pop along to the midwife tomorrow and get my blood pressure etc checked for reassurance. Think it probably is down to tiredness but who knows.

I promise not to Google anymore !
