Leaking urine - when to worry

Delivered my second baby on Friday, second forceps / episiotomy delivery after back to back labour.
I'm dribbling urine a lot. Not just when sneezing etc but if I walk / bend down etc.
I'll do pelvic floor exercises but beginning to worry now or is it too early to worry?

I’d call your midwife and see if you can be checked over. It might be you need a catheter in for a little while.

I had a catheter after birth and they took it out, I managed to pass the correct amount at once so they said I was fine. God I'd hate to have to get one again, how on earth would I do the nursery run for my older child etc Shock
I thought a catheter could actually cause more problems too?

You don't need a catheter you need pelvic floor exercises, and lots of them.

What you're describing is normal a few days after giving birth op Flowers

I wasn't this bad with my son I'm sure Sad but I suppose a second would make it worse. Lots of pelvic floors!

No, sorry, it’s not. Give your midwife a call.

It's not 'normal' but I'd also say it's probably too early to start worrying what things will be like long term if you get on top if it now.

I shat myself three days post partum and was told that's normal (um NO) but to be fair, things did get a lot better with pelvic floor exercises.

Now pregnant with number two and doing everything I can to ensure my bowel prolapse (yeah that's what cause the incontinence) doesn't get any worse!!!
