rh D Neg - peach to brown discharge

hi everyone, I’m currently 15w+5 and rhesus d negative and yesterday I started noticing brown discharge - I had my scan at around 13 weeks and they found a blood clot in the pregnancy sac

I called 111 and spoke to an out of hours dr who said that I should only worry if it’s bright red or if I’m in pain, but should I get a referral to the EPU anyway?

this morning it’s more of a peachy colour but I’m not sure if being D neg means I should get it checked out instead of leaving it?

Do you mean you're Rhesus negative? Not aware of there being any such thing as Rhesus D negative. In any event, I'd go with what the Dr advises. The issue with being Rh- is your blood potentially mixing with the baby's bloody and producing an immune response. If the discharge is brown/pinky in colour then this indicates it's very likely to be your own blood. Maybe speak to your midwife if you're concerned.

Do you mean you had to have the anti-d injection due to being rhesus negative?

I would get it checked (I'm also rhesus negative)

I’m also rhesus negative and I would call the hospital to get checked. Any kind of blood needs to be checked and potentially an anti d shot (I have had to have three anti d shots because of some spotting). Rather safe than sorry.

Ring the midwife and ask about it. At all my appointments so far it's been repeated that spotting could mean an anti d injection. You won't be wasting anyone's time, they'd rather you asked the question and there be nothing wrong than stay silent.
