Worried about missing signs of labour

This probably seems really silly. I'm currently 35+3 with twins due to be induced a week tomorrow where I will be 36+4. However my consultant has suggested it's likely we won't need the induction as feels I'd have delivered by then anyway.
This is my second pregnancy, my first my waters started to trickle in the morning and at around 8pm they just burst in a rather dramatic way in my kitchen while cooking dinner. It wasn't until my waters went that my contractions started and they to me felt extremely intense from the start. I had always been having BH for a good while too which were only ever uncomfortable.
This time I've been told as it will be preterm labour if I was to go into labour spontaneously that I don't need to be hanging around waiting for the contractions to be a certain amount in 10 mins or whatever it is they tell you (I didn't manage more than an hour with my first as I was a bit of a Pansy to be hornets)! Anyway, I've been having BH for what seems like forever, some tighter and more uncomfortable than others but have not been painful.
I worry that because my waters breaking is what confirmed it was the beginning for me last time if you like that I'm relying on my waters breaking this time too and that even if BH were to develop onto something painful and begin to be actual contractions that I'm just more tolerant of this time and it's going to be pushing it for time regards to getting to hospital in time. I've been on DAU 3 times in the last 3/4 weeks and been sent home as everything was fine which obviously I'm really happy about but I still worry but don't want to waste their time when it's just BH etc.?

I'd ring and ask for advice, I'm sure they don't let you go for a certain amount of time time after waters go because of risk of infections x

Sorry just to clarify I don't think my waters have gone now but just I know they can literally go right at the last minute but I feel like cause it was my waters going that started it all last time it's what I'm kind of waiting for this time when I could be riding it out not thinking much of the 'contractions' then my waters going and babies basically being here before I get to the hospital x
