Unbearable SPD/Pelvic girdle pain

I got diagnosed with SPD quite early on but found although I'm in pain it's been manageable up till now. It's my first pregnancy and I'm almost 30 weeks, I haven't slept more than 3 hours at a time or slept before 6am in over a week due to the pain. Sitting up, getting out of bed, putting socks or trousers on, getting out of the bath or off the floor has been difficult for months but its at the point now I'm in so much pain everything's taking me 10x longer and it's getting unbearable. My doctors said because I'm so slim, don't weigh much and my baby's big and I'm carrying more water than normal to expect it to get worse. I live on my own, my partner isn't very involved or supportive and I have no friends or family that live close and can't see anyone due to lockdown. I'm struggling to manage day to day things and with no sleep, trying to prepare my house for the baby and being on my own and in so much pain I don't know what to do or where to turn. I can't even lie or turn over in bed without grinding or tension in my pelvis, groin, hips and lower back. I've been sleeping with a pillow between my knees since it started but it's not helping anymore, I know there's nothing I can do but I was wondering if anyone has any advice on managing it or how to get through the next 10 weeks?

Did you discuss pain relief with your Dr?
Also look for an acupuncturist, as soon as I developed the symptoms in my second pregnancy, I had acupuncture and didn't suffer with it until post birth, because I opened my legs too wide.
SPD sucks and can fuck off and die.

Check out the pelvic partnership website for hints and tips.

Agreed about pgp fucking off and dying. I just can't see the evolutionary advantage of it and don't understand what it's for!! Loosening ligaments blah blah. Totally unfair.

Get some crutches.

Don't do things that hurt (like sit on the floor - get a stool or something instead). Sit to get dressed.
