It is possible to feel the baby move at 14 weeks?

Just this! I am 14 weeks pregnant tomorrow with twins. Last evening watching tv I was feeling some odd little flutters and pops and then my husband and I noticed that my tummy (which has started to pop out) was lopsided... we were amazed by that and wondering why... and we were watching it... more flutters followed and then before our very eyes it evened out again!!
These are our first babies and we were amazed as we weren’t expecting to sense or see movement until about Christmas.

Am I / are we imagining things? Or maybe it’s gas! 😂

It's unusual for a first pregnancy but not totally impossible, especially if its twins! I am pregnant with DC3 and I'm sure I was feeling it around 13/14 weeks this time!

I think you possibly can, I felt flutters very early almost as if someone was waving a feather inside me Smile

@LittleTiger007 I am 14+2 with twins myself and I am almost 100% certain I felt little flutters on my right side the other day when I was laying on the sofa relaxing. It felt like someone tapping, definitely not gas as I've felt that before and this was completely different but I assumed I had gone mad 😂 so your post actually makes me feel better that I did feel something and it wasn't my brain playing tricks on me.

What sort of twins are you carrying?

I could feel dc2 at 14 weeks. I had an appointment bang on 15 weeks and the midwife had a feel of my abdomen and started laughing because DS was kicking away. She said if I hadn't had a scan, she'd have put me at post 20 weeks due to visible and palpable movements. It's because I have a really short abdomen and the baby has nowhere to go but out.

It’s good to know I’m not going mad! These sensations are new, very light/slight but very different to anything else.
@RustyCat I have fraternal twins in separate ‘horns’ of my uterus. I have a completely bicornuate uterus which is basically two uterus’ each with an ovary. What are you expecting?

@LittleTiger007 I am expecting DCDA twins, so they each have a placenta and amniotic sac. Assuming they are going to be fraternal as well but apparently there's a chance they could be identical.

Definitely not going mad I have felt them on and off and they are very distinctively different to anything else I've felt.

@RustyCat isn’t it the most amazing feeling! 🙂 🥰
