Yes, I had 2 chemicals back to back and now 10weeks with a sticky one for month 3.

It certainly can happen. Good luck Smile

Yes, I had a CP and pregnant again the next month.. currently breastfeeding the result of that pregnancy! I know how vulnerable it all feels after a loss. Wishing you very best of luck.

You don’t actually need to tell your doctor at all if you don’t want to - as long as you have your folate and you’re otherwise well, you can just contact midwives directly as far as I understand, am they would see you about 8ish weeks. But- if you have a good GP I am sure they would like to know and could provide some support to you, first trimester is tough. Long story short - contact them whenever you feel like it but no hurry.

Yup chemical in June & conceived again in august and now 14 weeks pregnant. I didn’t contact the maternity unit of my hospital until I was over 6 weeks.

Just remember no amount of testing or stressing will change an outcome, staying positive and a good mental well-being is the best thing you can aim for right now.

Congratulations x

Does anyone know whats the latest you can have a chemical pregnancy like is it before 5 weeks or before 6?x

Littlebee1990 · 20/11/2020 10:52

CP if before 5 weeks - www.miscarriageassociation.org.uk/information/miscarriage/chemical-pregnancy/

Ilovesugar · 20/11/2020 11:20

I think it’s before something can be seen on ultrasound then it’s a chemical

JanQi · 20/11/2020 11:51

I miscarried at 5 weeks + 6 and was told it was a chemical pregnancy as there was nothing on the ultrasound. I knew I was pregnant for two weeks, so as far as I'm concerned it was a miscarriage. Don't get too hung up on the terminology, a loss is a loss.

JanQi · 20/11/2020 11:53

Also just to add OP - I'm in exactly the same boat as you and really sympathise with how nerve wracking it is. I'm just trying to focus on staying healthy and positive but it's much easier said than done!

qwerty2269 · 20/11/2020 16:43

@JanQi
It’s nerve wracking it so hard not to think about it well iv rang my doctors and booked my midwife appointment so let hope I’m okay& the baby c
