Hi all,

I am 4'11 and my husband is 6'1 - we're first time parents looking for a reasonably priced (under £1000) travel system that accommodates both our heights. We'll be in a small village near a town so will need to suit a mix of terrains.

Any recommendations? Would like an idea of what brands etc people recommend before we go and try some out, so we're not totally stabbing in the dark!

Thanks 😊

I'm 5" and DH is 6"3. We went with the bugaboo bee. We love it. Also got the yoyo babyzen. Both are great but the bugaboo is more sturdy

Stokke Xplory is great for height adjustment, you can get it as a full travel system but may be a tad over 1k as a full travel system

I love our icandy all terrain. I’m 5ft 3 and DH 6ft 3, we live rurally and it’s been brilliant. We got it with 20% off at John Lewis on a promotion so it was then just under £1k.
I use it very day still, DD now 14 months. Converts to 3 or 4 wheel, parent or world facing and the carrycot is huge so lasted us well past 6 months.
It’s compatible with a variety of car seats, we had the Nuna Pipa Lite LX which was also fantastic as so light. Used it to 10 months but it would’ve lasted much longer.

Baby style hybrid has 15 different heights or something and it converts to a tandem. It’s really lightweight too. We love it!

I second the stokke xplory - we were lucky enough to be given ours barely used, but if I had to buy a travel system again I would totally fork out for one. You can adjust the height of the handle so easily, and baby is really high up and close to you which I found lovely. When they get a bit older and want to participate in things a bit whilst you're out and about, the stroller seat is high enough that you can almost use it like a highchair and just wheel them up to the table when you're having coffee or lunch - really handy (assuming we're able to do that sort of thing again!)

Not too dissimilar height difference here and we have a Bugaboo Cameleon.

We have the bugaboo bee as it has height adjustable handles.
