No exhaustion or sickness at 7 weeks - should I be worried?

Hi all,

I'm 7+6 with my first pregnancy and so far I haven't had any sickness and no exhaustion. Only real symptoms have been bigger boobs, sensitive nipples and I've been more thirsty but apart from that I feel absolutely fine. I walked 7 miles on Tuesday and didn't feel tired at all!

Anybody else not having the exhaustion and sickness? I know I should be grateful but it's so hard to not worry when it's your first!

Thanks x

I'm 7 weeks and one day. I've had very very occasional sickness but not for a few weeks and I also have no tiredness. My only symptoms are sore nipples and boobs. I suppose we're lucky in a sense Smilexx

I didn't have any symptoms and I'm having twins and haven't the whole pregnancy so far but I know it can be worrying - I desperately wanted to feel something to be able to take it as a sign that everything was ok in there

It never typically hit me until 8-9 weeks with my three pregnancies. Then it was awful (...and weirdly a relief!). That said, I have several friends who had utterly uncomplicated pregnancies with no sickness at all, and perfectly healthy babies. Just keep looking after yourself and try not to worry (...easier said than done!). At around 20 weeks you can start feeling the baby moving around and that can also be a huge relief. The early days are anxious ones but hang in there. And congrats!

I never had any symptoms until around 13/14 weeks. I wouldn’t worry.

I was the same, wishing myself ill just to make it feel real! The sore boobs didnt feel enough.
16 weeks now and still feeling very normal, the more I talk to people the more common it seems. I think you just remember the people who puked every day where as those without symptoms don't really mention it

@ZMS1988 Congratulations firstly :) I could have written this myself! Literally no sickness at all and exhaustion has only happened maybe 3 times but not in the last week! Im 7 weeks today. I have bloating and sore boobs but definitely not bad and not in the 'pregnant' way i thought you were meant to get.

Nice to see others with little symptoms and everything ok, its so worrying isn't it? This is my first as well :) xx

I felt totally normal all the way through until about the last month when ALL my ligaments softened, not just the pelvic ones,so I was sore everywhere! Didn't feel tired at all though, if anything I had more energy. Everyone's different and as PP has said, you only ever hear the bad stuff. Plenty of pregnancies are totally unremarkable. Congratulations!

Oh, went off sausages and broccoli and tomatoes were like eating razor blades but other than that, nothing!

No - you should be thankful! 😂 oh and congratulations 😊

Thanks all for your kinds words of reassurance!

I'll just be grateful for now! X

This! I've been sick as a dog since week 6 and I'm now 18 weeks with no sign of it easing much. It's exhausting and draining. I'd give anything to be symptom free instead so enjoy it!
