Vitamin b12 being too high in pregnancy

I was diagnosed with low b12 last year and have been have injections every 3 months since. I’m 17 weeks pregnant with my second DD is nearly 3, I’ve complained to my midwife of exhaustion and low mood so she sent me for bloods to check my b12 and folate. The results have come back that my b12 is way over what it should be?! I’m so confused I should be feeling tip top but I feel awful! Has anyone had this in pregnancy? I’m seeing a consultant in December, but I just feel so crappy (falling asleep when I’ve just woken up on the sofa while my daughter is watching tv) to me it’s just not normal but hey in pregnancy who knows?!

I’ve had this but not in pregnancy. I felt rubbish so was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a quick fix (I.e being too low I could just take supplements). I was told any extra vitamins should just come out in my urine. I had it monitored with extra blood tests and eventually it came down to normal levels.
I hadn’t been taking any B12 injections or anything for it to be too high not actually sure what caused it.

It's so odd my doctor says pregnancy can knock out the b12 and to wait until I've seen the consultant 😩 I just don't understand it

You won't be too high in b12, the results are high because you have the injections which you will be on for life. They should never check your b12 results once you are in the i he toons.

Please ask about folic acid and vitamin D as these should be taken alongside b12.

That makes total sense but even the doctor is telling me to not have my next injection 😩 honestly my doctors surgery is a joke
