Constant hunger - How on Earth did you survive?

I'm only 9 weeks and 5 days pregnant and in the past week, I've noticed my morning sickness slowly easing. I thought, great, finally!!! Only to find out that it's been replaced by an uncontrollable intense hunger 24/7. Literally from the minute I wake until the minute I fall asleep. How on Earth do I deal with this without putting on a ridiculous amount of weight? Any tips or advice will be appreciated Confused

I took loads of healthy snacks to work. Yogurt with fruit and oats, cereal bars, hummus and veg etc, plus my lunch. I ate much more frequently than normal for me, and ended up weighing less a few weeks after giving birth than I was before becoming pregnant. Not sure how to be honest!

I put on 3st!

I was thinking about what I could eat next while still chewing the last thing.

That baby has always been a good eater Grin

Healthy snacks. Oranges/ carrrot sticks and humous, cucumber and philidelphia ☺️ I even get up at 4am for a bowl of cereal then go back to bed a few times. And keep active. Thats what Ive been doing

I just ate, didn’t put much weight on at all though. I had wardrobe snacks for during the night

Try doing 5 smaller meals a day instead of 3 large it should keep your hunger levels at bay until the next meal (hopefully🤣) xx

I'm 25 weeks and the hunger doesn't stop. Well for me it hasn't. My husband even told the MW that 'he feels he needs to chain the fridge' 😂😳 ...little buggar!

However enjoy the eating as much as you can within limits (I say that in terms of don't go consuming 4K calories an hour) But if you're hungry eat! Try eating a variation of foods and see if anything makes you feel fuller for longer.

I tried healthy stuff. It was rejected. Pie, chips and Haribo were what the little bugger wanted.

Just eat. You are growing a human! As long as it’s not McDonalds literally every day (although a friend are so much McDs in first trimester, as all she could stomach and all was fine and she has a wonderful figure!) If you plan to breastfeed it is particularly easy to lose the weight.

You eat lots more food but healthy stuff. Lots of vegetables fat and protein. If you crave sweet things then try to eat fruit rather than masses of cakes / biscuits / sweets.
