Uterine lining/ivf

Hi there

Just wondering if anyone has had similar issues with uterine linings being to thin.
Ivf cancelled. Medication etc.

I'm doing a natural cycle this time after 2 failed cycles one miscarriage at 9weeks.

My lining was thin on medication so
They upped the medication

There now saying it's to thin an to wait until next cycle, this is without medication. But if it was thin before surely it would be now.

My heads all over the place. Can any one help xxx

I had this. First round of IVF last year, uterine lining got to the minimum thickness they were happy with so had the egg transfer (My eggs had to be frozen rather than fresh transfer). That failed. Round two earlier this year and twice I didn't respond to the hormones well enough, uterine lining too thin, so cycles abandoned. (Then lockdown happened...) Post lockdown they tracked my normal cycle to see what was going on. Had been due to go back in October for them to discuss what the next steps would be, but somehow managed to fall pregnant naturally in the meantime. Have the dating scan tomorrow so keeping everything crossed it's ok...

@LizzieLouLouBelle aww that's amazing news. Congratulations.

I have 2 follicles. In the they triggered ovulation last night. As I said I wanted to see if it changed in a week. But my lining has been thin anyways.

I'm so pleased for you. Is that why you went ivf x

We went down the IVF road because we'd been trying for years and nothing. When they did all the original tests my lining thickness wasn't mentioned, and when they did the first transfer, again, they didn't mention anything at the time. Whether that means it fluctuates month on month I don't know.
They did say to me back in Feb though, that some women do just have a thinner lining than average and it doesn't necessarily mean you won't get pregnant. I guess they just want to make sure it's as thick as possible before they do they egg transplant for better odds.

@LizzieLouLouBelle it was my partner with low sperm that's why we went down this roof nothing mentioned at first scan nothing mentioned at transfer.
It was mentioned last transfer but was on medication so they up them.
Then this time they've said it doctor thinks it's cause I'm reviving from the miscarriage.
They've told me wait not doing any other test. I said I'll trigger ovulation an come back again day before transfer.
If not have to wait until next cycle. But it will prob be the same. Which I was trying to say. It's so difficult I suppose I'll wait until Sunday to find out
Good luck at your dating scan lovely that's such good news xx

Well good luck. I was convinced it was never going to happen for me after twice having to abandon the ivf cycle earlier this year, it seemed obvious to me that's why we hadn't been able to conceive. I'm pretty sure it was because I gave up and stopped worrying about it that it happened. Try to relax as best you can.
