Feeling baby in pubic area

Hello lovelies,

I was just wondering if it is normal to feel like your bag is in your pubic area at 29 weeks? Sorry to ramble on but this is my second baby (my little boy was a week late at 8lb 12oz after 36 hours full labour and an emergency csection, going for a VBAC this time around eee!) where as this little princess is already measuring quite small for her gestation(they have said it's down to the fact I'm low Papp-a) not to be crude but I feel like someone's fist is doing downward pushing circulating motions in my pubic area/vagina which is her head according to my midwife. I feel like I can't cross my legs though!

I'm working until 36 weeks (was hoping 34 but it's just too early for me) I work in health care so spend 12 hour shifts on my feet doing quite heavy work. Not sure if being so active this time around is something to do with it? I feel like this little madam is going to be making an early appearance if she's staying so low x

Hi op, I'm 31 weeks 2nd baby & can feel it very low down too, in hips & pelvis.
Baby was head down at last appointment.
Feels much lower than last time but not sure that it means anything in terms of an early arrival 😊

Just to add I was also 9 days overdue & ended up being prepped for EMCS but finished up having assisted forceps delivery last min & am having ELCS this time round too😊

@violetclouds thank you for replying!

So glad it's not just me then! Got a little
Worried with feeling all this so much earlier as I didn't feel anything like this with my little boy! With her being so small they're talking of inducing me if her weight doesn't pick up in the later weeks (blood flow isn't great to the placenta either so they're monitoring that) and they don't want me going over 39 weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️ so she's going to be early I'm just hoping the VBAC works out! Ahh did you! How was the forceps delivery if you don't mind me asking? Xx

I always felt my first was really low, I couldn't walk very far without having to sit down but didn't have much of a bump. He was born at 30+4 so I'm not sure if it had anything to do with it. My second was also premature though and I don't remember feeling like it with him. Not sure I've been much help lol

@jellybean218 ahh bless her, sounds like they're keeping a close eye on you so try not to worry to much! Easier said than done I know!
I have the opposite problem, 1st baby was to big for me, weighed 9lb1 & got stuck in birth canal after a nice 40 odd hour labour 😂 the actual last 3 hour of labour weren't that bad because I had an epidural at that point. But the recovery was dreadful hence the elcs

I'm 30 weeks and for the past 2 weeks I can feel my little girl really low down. I feel like she could come any moment tbh. This is my 5th baby, so I just put it down to feeling things more early. As I am also having contact Braxton hicks too. Literally all day and night. Am due january and this has been my most difficult pregnancy so far

Hi Op, you might want to ask Admin to amend your title. When I first read it I was a bit 😳 No criticism intended just thought you might not have noticed.

On a side note, with you working in healthcare at rye minute our trust is putting all staff home working from 28weeks or on leave. No one over 28 weeks working in the trust.

jellybean218 · 09/11/2020 10:28

I didn't even realise about the title 😩 how embarrassing! Sorry ladies! X

I'm 32 weeks and have always had this.
I always feel her so low down mostly like on public line.
I've had growth scans, she's little.
I'm sure she's moved back from breech as I was getting movements up p in my ribs for a while scan told me she was Frank breech, but movements are back to being mostly low down, so I'm hoping she's moved back to head down now!
