Pregnant after placental abruption?

Can anyone share their experience of being pregnant again after having a placental abruption (PA) in a prior pregnancy? I had a PA last December which caused my DD to be born at 22+4 and she did not survive. Now a year later I am 3 months pregnant again and very worried about it happening again (there is a higher risk of having a PA if you had one before). However, besides giving me daily aspirin from 12 weeks, there is no additional care or monitoring being offered to me. Can anyone share if there are additional medical treatments you had to prevent a PA and how often you were monitored?

@Sanders391 I'm so sorry for your loss Thanks. I lost my son for the same reason at pretty much the same stage.

My subsequent pregnancy was successful - I was prescribed aspirin from 12 weeks and had 4 weekly scans (not sure at the current time whether you will get those).

My pregnancy was successful, although I had a complete placenta praevia so my DD was. It's by emcs at 37 weeks after I haemorrhaged.

My pregnancy after loss was incredibly difficult emotionally- make sure you take time for yourself and get all the support you need. I joined a next pregnancy group at my local sands, which was invaluable

Thank you for your reply and sharing your story @myhousekey. I’m so sorry to hear about your son too. It gives me hope to hear you went on to have a healthy baby (although still with some difficulty).
