I'm nearly six weeks pregnant, and I seem to of gone from insomnia to total and complete exhaustion, I feel totally wiped all of the time? Is this normal and does anyone have any advice?!

Yes it is normal. However it might be anaemia which they will check for when they take your booking bloods and if it is that they'll recommend an iron supplement. I am not anaemic and felt exhausted from 6 weeks in both pregnancies. This time I slept 10-12 hours each night and napped at weekends. It got better towards the end of the first trimester.

@AegonT thank you for your response! I haven't had a call from midwife yet guessing it'll be soon, I had to leave a form at docs and they said midwife would be in touch....

I don't have any other symptoms yet which is worrying me, with my first pregnancy and Mc I was so so sick from day one x

Yes it’s normal, try to get as much rest as thy can especially if this is a first pregnancy and you have the luxury of not having a young child to care for. I remember falling asleep at my desk at work at about 7 weeks.
It gets much better after 12 weeks you’ll feel exhausted but not like the early weeks....until the baby comes and what you experienced early pregnancy you’ll be praying for!!

I’m 4 weeks today (it feels so strange saying that!)

And I’m exactly the same - this is my second one after an 11 year gap and all the exhaustion has come flooding back 🤦‍♀️

@Paperfox it's so hard to function! Thank goodness for working from home! I've had a nap at lunch today!!!
