When should you start pelvic floor excersises? Hope I haven't left it too late . Sneezed the other day and nearly wet myself .

Well I can tell you when it's too late and that's when you're 25 weeks pg with child no.2! Actually, just start now, I'll do it too. It is a muscle, therefore it can be strengthened - it's never too late!!

Never too late and never too soon. about 6 weeks ago and found that I had lost bladder control altogether in the first few days after. Now I'm squeezing and lifting all the time to work my muscle back. But as the saying goes, prevention is better than cure. So do it now.

Ok - so what am I doing again. Do I either stop mylsef during a pee and try and hold onto it for 10 secs or try and lift the muscle whilst sitting. Any other suggestions?

No, don't try to stop when you're actually doing a pee, just use the same 'clenching' movement when sitting, standing, anywhere really. Noone will know you are doing it unless you adopt strange facial expressions!

Just re-read my post and realised I missed out a whole chunk. Meant to say I gave birth about 6 weeks ago.

Apparently, its not very good to stop your pee. It can bring on infection. I do it while I'm breastfeeding. Perhaps you could do it while you're on an escalator, waiting for the lift, wahing the dishes, etc.
I attended pregnancy yoga and they made us get on 4s and do our pelvic exercises.
