Hello, I've been told by my gynae that RHR isn't a reliable indicator for the 2ww. I'm 4dpo and my heart rate decreased the day after O, I'm worried that means I'm already out. Anyone else have this?

I guess if the gynae says it’s not a reliable indicator, then you shouldn’t read too much into it. Try not to panic

The heart rate is raised a little when you ovulated and then drops again. So it shows that you ovulated. If it is fertilised then your body won’t know it yet and so it won’t respond yet. The egg will be slowly moving down the Fallopian tube towards the uterus. It can be fertilised on the way down or could be fertilised shortly after it was released if the sperm was there already waiting. It’s too soon for your body to react to a fertilised egg however. I hope this helps OP.

Thank you yes, very helpful, I've removed my fitbit now though as I'm fed up of keep checking it.
