Spotting after a positive test - anyone had similar?

Hi ladies, first time posting and looking for some advice. It’s my first pregnancy.

On Wednesday evening I decided to take a pregnancy test as had been feeling really off all week and I had a very tiny amount of light pink/orange spotting Tuesday evening - completely expected it to be negative but it was quite a strong positive. The next morning I took 3 (!) more tests - all clear positives on a cheapie, FRER and a digital which showed 1-2 weeks.

Yesterday afternoon I went to the loo at work and saw a couple of drops of dark brown in my underwear, and then some streaks of light brown when I wiped. This continued, albeit lightly, through yesterday evening. Today I still have this spotting, light brown and definitely not red, not even pink - and only when I wipe. I wore a liner today and there wasn’t even a spot on it.

I only came off the implant in July so my periods are quite irregular, but based on the last 2 cycles I would have expected my period this weekend.

Could this be implantation bleeding even though I had strong, definite positives on tests the day before? And also potentially some implantation bleeding already on Tuesday?

Apart from feeling a bit dizzy and lower backache, I don’t have any other symptoms. Really hoping everything is ok as baby is very wanted.

Thank you xx

Had this with my first. I spoke to my GP and I was sent to EPU as they worried it might be ectopic. Turned out to be a blighted ovum and miscarried myself at 6.5 weeks.

However with my third pregnancy (first successful one!) I had brown spotting all the way to 14 weeks and I have a very cheeky 11 month old!

If it carries on, give the GP a call - even to put your mind at rest.
