Bleeding after a transvaginal scan - am I miscarrying ?

Hi, looking for some reassurance hopefully!!
I went for a transvaginal scan one week ago thinking I was 6 weeks but saw a sac and they said come back in 2 weeks saying my dates must be wrong (6 weeks from last period but from tracked ovulation would have been around 4 weeks)
That night I started spotting which turned into light red blood - not enough to fill a pad but present when I wiped. This carried on for 3 days with a large clot. Too big for how far along I am and no pain or cramps
I have gotten lighter bleeding and now brown with stringy bits but not much.
Clear blue test still says pregnant 2-3 weeks which has gone up from last test a week ago. I am still having nausea and emotional etc but have read these can carry on for a few weeks after a MC
I am Due my next scan on 31.10 really trying to stay positive but struggling with the wait 😩 anyone with similar - am I bleeding from possible SCH? Or would irritation from the internal cause this much bleeding or is it a coincidence I’m miscarrying after a TV scan? Thanks in advance xx

It's unlikely that anyone here can tell you that but I can say that transvaginal scans are very safe and don't go far up enough to distrub the baby. I've been through IVF so had more than my fair share of them and was always reassured of their safety.

I had bleeding - bright red and heavy enough to fill a sanitary towel - along with brown spotting/discharge for around 4 weeks during my current pregnancy (weeks 8 through to 12). I was checked at the the EPU and baby was fine, there was some clots in my lining which were being shed. Having had a previous miscarriage, I was convinced the same was happening and it was a very stressful time. I'm currently 35 weeks with the same pregnancy and it's been fairly straight forward from the second trimester onwards so try not to panic.

The EPU nurse told me that bleeding in the first trimester is suprisingly common. If you are really worried, give your EPU a call and see if you can go in. The stress of waiting is really tough.

@Pinktruffle ok that is reassuring to hear.. I am going to call my dr again Monday but she did say to wait until next Saturday - I keep on and off being tearful and bleeding started again tonight but lightly. I’m trying to stay strong and think positive - I still feel
Pregnant - I don’t know I know I can’t stop it if it is happening but this waiting is awful ☹️
