Breech at 33 weeks

Hi,

At my midwife appointment today, she was pretty sure baby is bum down, wedged in comfortably as a breech baby. It was picked up on a scan at 28 weeks and I'm having another scan at 36 weeks.
Has anyone experienced baby moving head down by itself after 33 weeks? I'm feeling that I don't want to go for an ECV at 37 weeks due to the additional risks and hospital visits so would probably go for an elective section at 39 weeks.
However I'd love to hear your stories of baby moving itself to the right position at this stage!

Thanks in advance

My baby was breech and as a FTM I was a bit scared as I'd heard random stories but the truth was so totally different. We found out later in my pregnancy and they tried an ECV but it didn't work, although the hospital offered to try again. The consultant walked me through the next steps and my options. They had a breech team within the hospital who were specialised in dealing with it. They offered me a c-section or vaginal birth and I opted for c-section. It was about 25 minutes and I met my little girl within 5 of those minutes and everything up until that point and shortly afterward were forgotten.

I know it's probably not the experience you want to hear but I wanted to assure you that even if the baby doesn't turn around there are options and it's not as bad as some people make out.

My baby was transverse and kept moving and even on day of cesearen he had moved again but was never head down. I didn’t want ecv as did my research and wasn’t for me so opted for csection at 39 weeks. I did try spinning babies, bouncing on ball, reflexology and acupuncture with moxa to no avail

Thanks for the responses. I'm not averse to a
C section so I'm trying to get my head around that. At least it will be planned so in a sense I can plan for childcare etc so that's a positive.
I think I might try some of the more gentle exercises online and see what happens!
