I'm looking to buy a birthing ball, any recommendations or are they all much the same? Also I've seen they come in different sizes, I'm only 5ft2, would anyone know what size I'd need?

No idea but I have the exact same question! I'm also 5'2". Some sites say 65cm for us, some 55cm. I gave up after some confusing initial research. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just bought a generic one from Amazon. It tells you what size to inflate it to based on your height and comes with a tape measure.
I'm 4 ft 11 and it was fine! 👍🏼

Also are they different from exercise balls or are they the same thing? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have a BabyGo one as it is super strong!

I'm 5'6 and originally bought a 65cm but felt it was too low so had to go for the bigger one. Much better and great for my back!

They are stronger than generic exercise balls

I bought the BabyGo one too, I’m about 5’1 and it feels right for me. I really like it

Birthing balls are bigger, so you can use an exercise ball for birthing but can't use a birthing ball for any physio exercises if you need to do those. Just make sure it's anti burst.

I also got the babygo one of amazon, it comes with a book of exercises and tape measure to inflate to the right size for your height (I'm 5'7)

I am 5ft2 and bought a 55cm exercise ball, it was OK, when working at my desk it was a touch on the low side I sat on it side on and it was better.

Yep make sure it’s a good one with anti burst - if burst they deflate slowly enough not to cause an accident

The cheap ones could cause terrible injury if they are burst by accident
