Hi
I am 42 and pregnant with fraternal twins.
I had screening/bloods At 12 weeks and it came back high risk my results were:
My hCG: 115.1 ng/mL : 3.76
My PAPP-A: 7501 miu/L : 2.47
N/T: 1.80mm (both twins same measure)

Has anyone else had this high hcG? And has anyone had this high Papp-a?

I’ve had the NIPT but still waiting for results which is painful to say the least constant worry and fear.

Anyone who has been in similar situation/position with bloods?

Thank you, Milly x

@Twinsat42 - it’s singleton. Results were 1.8 x

I had a high papp a. Singleton pregnancy at
2.85 MoM
Looked it up and got a bit scared but nipt came back lowest possible.
For high hcg i am not sure...
Also because of your age your screening would come back high i believe.
The nipt will definitely give you an answer!

I had high hCG (3.53). The doctor said it can be linked to lower birth weights so I'll be having growth scans in the third trimester, although I have a few other minor things they are also monitoring so I don't know if they do this for everyone with high hCG. PAPP was 1.21 and NT was 1.3mm.

The baby's chance of Down's syndrome was 1 in 870 and minuscule chance of Palau's or Edwards eg less than 1 in 40,000.

I heard the bulk of your result is based on the NT although I think I read that on Mumsnet so not sure how accurate it is. I have a singleton pregnancy so not sure how much twins affects the result - good luck!
