When was your morning sickness low point?

I’m seven weeks, and feeling pretty grim. I’ve had one baby, but can’t remember the low point. I feel like I was getting better at 14 weeks, but not sure. Hoping this is as bad as it gets!

@babdoc that sounds awful Sad

My morning sickness started week 4 and lasted from morning to night 🤢 week 10 now and just have it in the morning so compared to the last weeks I'm feeling much better. It's exhausting and draining but won't be long x

It was definitely around 8-9 weeks that I felt my most worse but I'm now at 16 weeks and feel so much better. Hoping you start to feel better soon x

At about 9 weeks I threw up on myself in the car, I couldn't pull over. I had hyperemesis gravidarum so the whole pregnancy was a storm of vom.

For me it was weeks 9-14. Tried 3 different types of anti sickness, had some time off work (tried very hard to power through with working from home), but that just added to it.
By weeks 15/16 I was finally able to look at food that wasn’t a rich tea biscuit.
Hope you feel better soon x

@KylieKangaroo yuuuup the masks make it so much worse! I’m avoiding going out because I always gag in them.

I didn't get morning sickness but by lunchtime the sickness would kick in.
My place of work wasn't too far from work so I used to walk daily.
Walking home was a nightmare , I used to vomit in the street and felt I needed to vary the route so not to be chucking up in the same place every day.

This was one of many low points but all the same....

Pissing my knickers from the force of throwing up.

A lot of 'DH! Can you get me some new knickers please!'

RaisinGhost · 10/10/2020 12:05

Oh I just remembered another. Throwing up in the shower and for some reason the vomit came out my nose and mouth. I had just eaten grapes and the chewed grapes came out my nose but got stuck. I had to blow my nose a few time to get them out. This happened the day before I gave birth.

When you said "low point" I thought you meant when you were at your lowest in how you felt about it! I can't really remember exactly when it stopped, maybe 14-16 weeks?
My low point was when I was driving and was sick all over myself! I couldn't stop because I was driving across a roundabout!
