Just woken up this morning to a small trickle of fluid (sorry if TMI) clear fluid and not a huge amount but enough my partner to notice and for it to be on the sheets (sorry) when sitting up...

It seems to have stopped now but is it normal and just pregnancy discharge or should I be concerned?

I’ve got no other signs of labour....

I’d get checked to be sure. X

Definitely phone your midwufe/maternity unit. This happened to me and I had to go straight in for tests. They just check it's definitely your waters and then do an ultrasound to ensure baby has enough fluid around her/him. But I'd ring now. Good luck OP!

You should ring the hospital to get it checked. Waters breaking is considered an infection risk (the increased risk is tiny though). Good luck x

While you're trying to get through to the unit, have you a pad you can pop in your knickers?
As gross as it sounds, you'll be able to tell if it's your waters or something else. Typically your waters are coloured like straw rather than a urine colour and they'll be scentless.
Also if you lay down for a short while and then stand up, do you trickle again? (Could be your waters "pooling" as you're laid down)

How are you doing OP?

They advised to pop on a pad to monitor it and nothing else has happened, along with no pains or any other signs. Think it must have been a false alarm! :(
