One breast bigger than the other??

I'm 27 weeks pregnant with my first baby now and pretty much from the start my right breast is much bigger than my left, it's heavier, droops lower whilst my left has still gotten big but not in the same portion as my right and still perkier. I can also feel hard ness in my right boob in certain areas where as in my left it's still just soft tissue ? Is this normal? Should I be worried?

I would get it checked, chances are it's nothing but it's not worth leaving it, especially if they feel different.

Silly question maybe but I'm getting major anxiety just thinking about it 🤦🏻‍♀️ I've got a midwife appointment next Thursday should I wait then or with stuff like this am I best phoning up my drs for an appointment?

@Klouise12 my right breast is also bigger and more sensitive.
Didn't think more of it though.
Interested in what your midwife says...

I've always had one bigger.
My right is bigger.

The same through pregnancy.

I always feel a bit paranoid about it.

I saw a doctor and he said that your breasts are sisters not twins!

However see a doctor and put your mind at ease.

I've explained it to her and she said it will more than likely be hormonal changes but best to get it checked out. Got a gp appointment later today

Glad to hear you're getting it checked! Very unlikely to be anything to worry about but hormonal changes in pregnancy can, in some cases, trigger breast cancer so always better to be safe than sorry!

Yes Thankyou all for giving me the push to get it checked out! My gp has referred me to breast clinic to have scans. She has stated she's not done this to scare me or she thinks it's any sinister. She just explained she's obviously not an expert on this herself and is best to get it properly checked out for peace of mind. Which I'd rather do then her to fob me off and send me on my way. So very appreciative of her referring me! Thankyou all!

One of mine randomly became much bigger for a while earlier in my pregnancy, but they’ve returned to both being the same size now!

It’s always worth getting these things checked out if you’re worried, but most likely it’s fine. Beasts go through lots of changes in pregnancy, and those aren’t always identical for each breast.
