Exercise in pregnancy

I'm 8w and fairly used to exercise, although not super-sporty by any means. I'm currently maintaining the twice a week HIIT sessions that I was already doing (like crossfit, but not so extreme), with a really good trainer who's adapting the exercises for me.

One thing I've noticed is that with certain movements I can feel sort of clicking in my abdomen/pelvis area. It's not bones, it's like things are moving around inside. No pain. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it normal as things start to grow and shuffle around?

Following as I am in a similar position, although a bit behind (4w ish)

I've just completed C25k, and have been running on a regular basis for a weeks after completing it, just found out I am pregnant and don't want to waste all the work I've just put in, but at the same time don't want to take any unnecessary risks.

It is normal but is worth being careful - your body will release a hormone that relaxes all your muscles and joints in pregnancy to allow room for the baby to grow so you become a lot more prone to injury!

Not a reason to stop at all... I'm 23 weeks now and still managing to exercise but have noticed a lot of the odd pull here and there and everything not feeling quite so well knitted together!!

You dont need to stop what you already do but should consider adapting to things that have lower impact cause of ligament changes. You should also avoid anything that risks a blow to tummy, like boxing

I'm keeping running, some climbing, and weights

I've adapted quite a lot - no impact, no jumping, no big abdominal elongations or twists. I was pretty sure what I could/couldn't do, but the weird feelings in my tummy are a bit disconcerting! Like I said, no pain and it only lasts as long as I'm doing the movement, for example doing really gentle "mountain climbers" (face down, hands on the floor and bringing each knee up to the chest in turn). Lots of clicking and crunching going on.
