I'm pregnant with baby number 2, stretch marks got me bad in my first pregnancy and just wondering if anyone can recommend a good cream to use during this pregnancy. I'm not expecting miracles just something to help Smile

I've used Mothers Balm - Neals Yard since about 12 weeks. Currently 39+3 and I've got a couple of very small stretch marks but that's it! I was size 8 before and I'm measuring two/three weeks ahead so I am quite big too 🤣

Palmers cocoa butter for stretch marks

It’s more genetics so if you’re going to get them there’s not much you can do. Creams can stop dry itchy skin and massaging can increase stretch to a small extent.
That said if you want to splurge mama moo tummy butter is lovely, cheaper option is Superdrug vitamin e cream

Yup it's defo genetics, my midwife confirmed this. With my first I used creams every day and got loads right at the end. This time round I've not used anything and only my original ones have turned darker, I really don't think creams help apart from stop the itching/dryness. If you didn't get any I don't think you were bound to abs your just lucky Smile x
