Morning sickness - different each time?

Hi, I have a DD and a DS and never really had morning sickness with either of them. However I'm 7 weeks pregnant with my third DC and definitely have it this time. I feel constantly nauseous and am being sick a few times a day. It's really surprised me as I wasn't expecting it.

Has anyone else had this? Is it a case that all pregnancies really are just different? Also, any tips for easing it greatly appreciated!

I had horrible morning sickness with my first and things that helped were trying to eat regularly and sipping water/sucking ice cubes pretty constant as dehydration seemed to make it worse. I used to have a couple of dry biscuits and some water on the bedside table and have even a little before I got up for the day as that seemed to help (rich tea fingers or trifle fingers seemed to work for me) and making sure I took pregnancy vitamins. Ginger biscuits also helped. I also found chewing chewing gum helpful but this doesn’t work for some people. A friend got some tablets prescribed by her GP to help as she could barely function with it so is always worth a phone call if you feel it would help. Good luck Flowers

Also I was dreading the nausea and vomiting when I found out i was pregnant with my 2nd and it didn’t make an appearance I think pregnancies can just be that different!

@Curlsandpearls thanks, I will try that. I tend to just down water throughout the day but sipping slowly sounds like a better idea. I wonder if mints would work if gum does. It's odd isn't it how pregnancies can just be so different.
