Just that really. I'm 7w and have just started to feel bad the last few days. Nothing too serious, just constant nausea and dry retching, and I'm struggling to find foods I can stomach. But should I assume it's going to get worse before it gets better? Or is this it?

Hard to tell really. 7 weeks you should be in the thick of it so it may not get any worse. I never threw up with my first. I'm at the same stage now as you with my second! Congratulations.

Thanks! Fingers crossed. And apologies for duplicating this thread, I'm using the app and it's a bit dodgy...

Hmmm... at 7 weeks i was nauseous but not physically sick. At 10 weeks i was vomiting several times a day. It tapered off a bit by about 20 weeks, but i was sick every day for the whole rest of my pregnancy. I was unlucky, but it does happen. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Make sure you get keep your stomach full, that will help a lot.

Mine started around 7 weeks, got worse for a few weeks and then started to improve at week 11... I’m now 14 weeks and it’s still here but not as bad.

The only thing that helps me is eating carbs every 2-3 hours... as soon as I feel the nausea starting again. It’s the last thing I feel like doing but it does make it better.

Also drink plenty of water... if you are actually sick it’s a lot easier if it’s liquidy (sorry).

Usually goes by week 14. But it's milder by week 12. If it hasn't gone by week 16 it will probably be with you in some capacity until the end. But the worst of it is week 7-12
