Had a really bad fright - will baby be ok?

I'm 22 weeks pregnant, was on a flight last night and we suddenly hit a storm and experienced the most horrendous turbulence without warning - cabin crew threw themselves on the floor and people were screaming and crying.

It was absolutely terrifying and gave me a real fright, I spent the next 2.5 hours of the flight with my heart in my mouth and my legs were shaking non stop. Baby become really active during this time. I haven't felt her move this morning but my back is hurting a bit and I'm having more discharge than usual - although not a worrying looking or smelling discharge.

Should I contact my midwife and get a check up on baby?

@lydia771 I think if you are worried you should call up, especially if you haven't felt baby and you normally would. They will either say you will be OK or get you checked. Either way it will put your mind at rest and make you feel happier.

Yes you should. I'm sure the baby was well protected and will be fine but as she hasn't moved yet its definitely worth getting checked out.
Sorry you went through that, sounds terrifying.

Less than 28 weeks they'll likely won't see you as they say a pattern won't have established yet? (There are few threads active at the moment where women are being told this)
I'd lie down for a while - way something sugary and a cold drink and see if that wakes the baby up x
