Hi Ladies , I'm 5 months pregnant I work in a nursery on a 0 hour contract. I'm going back to work next week and I will have to take public transport when coming back. Feeling very nervous and anxious at the same time any advice? Also my job you can't work from home.

I went back to work in July at 28 weeks and I was soooo nervous. I still am a bit paranoid about the whole thing, my daughter has mild asthma and catches everything. So I'm just worried all the time Haha. But when I went back, I found I couldnt socially distance from customers in my role. So I sat with my manager and explained my concerns. I was given a back of house role while they were getting everyone back then they put me on furlough for a month before my Mat leave starts. Make sure you know all your rights, you have a lot when you are pregnant. And dont be frightened to tell your team what you feel and you need at this time. I hope it all goes smoothly for you. Xx

I also work in a nursery, almost 23 weeks pregnant and at my last midwife appointment she told me that the risk assessment/covid safe procedures weren't enough and didn't want me in (I'd been back for a few days). I spoke to my work about it and they continued my furlough and I'll be taking maternity leave once that ends.
My nursery had very little precautions in place and I didn't feel safe there.. All the children now have colds/coughs too so very glad I'm not in.
It may be worth seeing if they have any admin stuff you can do? My midwife was happy for me to be in the office but not in with the children. Unfortunately we didn't have enough admin work for me to do alongside our actual admin.
Hope it goes well!
