Worth a try

misdee · 18/10/2004 19:06

its annoying, cos our money is made up in other benefits, its harder to get some others. even if i was getting £5 income support i'd get the grantn automatically. looks like i'll have to grovel lol. had to do with regards to milk tokens as on IS when pregnant u get milk tokens, but had to phone and ask for them.

You sure you don't qualify for any IS? IB and IS do not exclude each other, nor having CA.

misdee · 18/10/2004 19:11

i'm about £1 over the limit.

we also get ctc, dla for both girls and dh, child benefit. just takes me over the limit.

Dla is disregarded, they shouldn't be counting that in your income afaik.

I have a phone number you can call that will tell you what you should be entitled to somewhere in ds2's disabiltiy register hand book. Want me to look for it?

misdee · 18/10/2004 19:20

they dont include it, it actually made ctc more money. so am thinking they should factor that in when considering application. its all very awkward.

if you have the number somewhere to hand, then yes please.

It's called the benefits enquiry line, and gives advice on all benefits to people with disabilities and their representatives. You get dla so they will help you figure it all out.
