At 36 weeks the measurement should be 36cm on your belly (I'm assuming this was a MW with a tape measure?) But it's just a rough estimate to make sure you're not wildly too big or too small, which could indicate an issue. Your measurements must be slightly above what they expect but clearly not a concern if she didn't mention any thing else.

My measurements were always massive - way, way off the charts! It's a useful tool amongst other things to check on the general growth of a baby but it doesn't sound like anything to be concerned about at all. Maybe see what happens at the next one and discuss it with MW then?

Hi

Yes she just said slightly measuring above but normal ? She said it’s been like that throughout... yet today at 36 w is first time she said slightly above.

I've been slightly above since 28 weeks but as long as your line is in a slight incline without a massive spike they won't be concerned.
I had my MW apt on Monday this week, I was 38+1 on Monday and I measured 38cm. I was slightly alarmed as my incline is a little steeper than before but my MW was proper chilled about it!
It's the sharp spike that they get concerned about, so if you don't see that on your growth chart, I wouldn't worry too much
