Hi I had a private scan today and noticed baby looked as though was blowing bubbles however the woman managed to picture one I asked what it was an if it's anything to worry about she said looks like abit of cord or could be cross section of arm or something she said doesn't look anything obvious to worry about, I'm still just abit worried and wondering has this happened to anybody else and they have gone on to have healthy pregnancy's or healthy baby's I'm 15 weeks by the way x

I’ve seen a few scans with a little bubble on it. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about

Cord. If you look closely you can even see the three vessels (three little black dots within in) for two arteries and one vein :) cute picture

There won't be bubbles within the sac, fluid only. The baby doesn't breath air, it takes fluid in and out of its lungs, practicing what will be breathing once it is born.
The white piece on the scan, as PP suggested, is definitely a cross section of cord.

Agree that it looks like cord. Lovely picture!

It can't be a bubble, there's no air in the uterus, only fluid. Seconding what others have said about it being the cord. Don't worry! The sonographer would say something if there was anything to be concerned about.
