Aspirin question- 28 weeks

Just had my appointment this morning and mentioned family history of pre-eclampsia. Midwife suggested 150mg of aspirin from now on.
I’ve just bought some from boots but noticed they are ‘dispersable’ aspirin instead of ones you swallow. Does this matter? The leaflet also says do not take in last trimester of pregnancy...this contradicts what it says on the internet. Any advice welcomed. Thank you

For some reason the pharmacy always try to give dispersable. I can’t stand them, so just take the tablets. Did they tell you to take 150mg in one go, or 2 x 75mg (one morning, one evening). I’m on aspirin again this pregnancy, but for a low hormone issue and I’ve been told to take 2 x 75mg. But could just be one of those things!

I just swallowed the dispersible tablets, they were so tiny, and I couldn't be bothered to wait. I'm sure someone will be along to tell you why you shouldn't though.

Generally the EC or enteric coated ones are preferred in pregnancy - those are the ones that have been used in the studies, I’m not sure if there’s any real difference tho! But if taking them every day for months EC will be better, less likely to cause stomach upsets/reflux etc.
best advised to take the full dose at night, generally stop at 36 weeks, ignore the info on the medication handout.
