Maternity nightwear

Has anyone found any good maternity nightwear for your hospital bag? Nightwear to give birth in and for afterwards? I'm really struggling! If you've found anything please send the links my way! x

@moonriver32 Thanks, I like the black one with the lace trim...I've been told black is a good choice when it comes to hospital nightwear...but is it a bit too sexy with the lace? 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈

I got a couple of cheap night dresses from Asda, grey with pink spots, my usual size 10 actually still fits well at 36 weeks! I did order the next size up too just incase but I wanted one without sleeves as I'm always hot in labour and then hot after with the hormones and sweating out all the fluid! You can then just wear a dressing gown on top if cold.

There are loads of cheap nightdresses but such a struggle to get button down for skin to skin!

Does it need to be button down? The v-neck cotton nighties I've seen leave lots of skin exposed?

The Asda one is V necked and my size 10 would easily fit a newborn tucked inside it too, the sleeves would pull down easily too. I then got a button up normal pj and trouser set for breastfeeding

After searching far and wide bonprix have some good maternity nighties that won’t break the bank.

My Gap ones arrived yesterday, they're so nice, really soft and great quality - highly recommend!
