Transverse and freaked myself out

Firstly Iknow I sound dramatic but I've got myself into a bit of thing thinking about it and now I can't stop!

So I'll 31+3 at 29+4 I had a 4d scan which baby was transverse for, wasn't concerned and I had suspicions due to movements... fast forward to 31 weeks at the mw app, she said hop onto the bed so I can feel baby and I said I think he's still transverse and she said no he's head down to which I was quite shocked at but ok she knows better than me. 31+1 4D rescan confirmed baby is still transverse...

Now I've got myself into a bit of a panic and I'm doing all that spinning babies website suggests..

Firstly was anyone elses baby transverse at this stage and baby did move?

Secondly when do I need to be pushy for a presentation scan 34 or 36.... should I still be convinced he's still in this position.

I'm probably being a worrier for no reason at this stage but it's easier said than done to not worry about it

I was in exactly your situation at about 33 weeks. It's so stressful! I worried and worried and they said if baby didn't turn by 36 weeks I'd be admitted to stay in hospital until the birth Shock.

I basically did nothing about it and she turned on her own, it was fine.

People did recommend the spinning babies thing to me but I never got around to doing it.

I went into labour with my DD lying oblique, it hadnt been picked up at midwife appt and only identified when I arrived at MLU. Blue lighted to main hospital. Docs broke my waters, thankfully she dropped to head down, otherwise it would have been crash section (surgeon was in the room when waters broken). DD arrived less than an hour later. Plenty of time for baby to move

Mine was head down from 16 weeks all the way until 28 when he flipped transverse, cue consultant explaining others for a few weeks time etc and me worrying, by 32 weeks he’d gone head down again and now at 33 weeks he’s 3/5th engaged so I wouldn’t worry! Plenty of time for baby to move around yet x

Thank you everyone! It does make me feel better that he should move head down! I just need to chill out,

My DC turned at 36+2 and 36+4.

They turned on their own and I new instantly as I have never been so sick. They basically emptied my stomach as they pushed themselves around with their feet.

Both times it was only a day or 2 before I was supposed to have a meeting to arrange a c section.

@LunaLoveFood someone else said to me when he moves I'll know about it because he's such a big movement 🤞🏼 he moves, I'm gunna relax and not worry I think I was more worried because mw said he was heads down and I knew he wasn't confirmed with a scan no clue what she was feeling

pretty sure my first baby stayed transverse until about 36 weeks

i did tons of spinning babies exercises in those last few weeks - i swear by them! especially the forward leaning inversion. Keeps you fit, supple, and helps baby turn if needed

(had a fast 5 hr labour at 41 wks, I'm very pro encouraging everyone to stretch and move as much as you're able to, right up to the last minute!)
