Xylocaine or lidocaine spray for after birth

Just curious if UK hospitals provide xylocaine or lidocaine spray for numbing down stairs after birth? It seems pretty common for it to be provided in US hospitals, as well as witch hazel pads and a water spray bottle for using while weeing, but I haven’t heard anything about it here?

It’s bring your own re the witch hazel and water spray here, unless it’s not nhs ( ie you are going private). Not sure on the numbing spray, they didn’t in my hospital (nhs) but again not sure if it’s something you could request and purchase.

You can buy it but I just poured a cup of warm water over my bits as I peed. That's all I needed despite a big epesiotomy and tear (forceps) just keep on top of your medication/pain killers.

I bought spritz for your bits and bottles of witch hazel all unused!

I got a lidocaine injection whilst they did the stitches and a diclofenac suppository at the same time. I didn't need any other pain relief and didn't have any discomfort for the first pee or bowel movement

First child I used lavender oil in baths and suffered lots. Second child I bought spritz for bitz and had almost no pain despite the stitches. Seriously recommend it.
